Evelyn is a trainer that works on basic classical principals.  There is no cookie cutter approach, but tailors her instruction to the needs of the horse and rider.  With her many years of experience and perfecting her techniques, she will have the best training system for you and your horse to reach the goals you want to reach.

One thing that sets Evelyn apart from the others is that she can successfully teach as well as train and successfully compete.  She can break down each individual step of a movement or problem though a see it, hear it, feel it process.  She uses visualizations and descriptions of everyday events, like riding a bike, to help the rider achieve the feel they need.

Evelyn has her B.S. Degree from Lake Erie College in Equestrian Studies, has earned the USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze rider medals as well as the Gold, Silver and Bronze musical freestyle bars. Currently she is one of 10 people in the United States that has achieved this recognition.  She is a USDF “L” graduate and a Positive Riding Instructor Certification Program Module I graduate.  Evelyn is a 8 time CBLM Champion on numerous different horses at all levels from Training through Grand Prix as well as numerous placings in the USDF Region 1 Championships.

Evelyn has coached 5 people to their USDF Bronze Medals, 2 to their USDF Silver Medals and 1 to their USDF Gold medals.

Evelyn has a very positive, energetic teaching style that produces a quality learning atmosphere.  This is apparent in her students results and achievements. Her motto is "if my students beat me in competition then I have done my job well."  She teaches riders at all levels.

Having evented for many years, showed Hunters, Jumpers and did a little Western in her distant past, she is well rounded rider and trainer. Because of her eventing background she can help the  Event Rider improve their dressage.

Evelyn has a talent for competition riding on many breeds of horses.  i.e.  Friesians, Appaloosas, Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Luisatanos, earning high score awards and all breeds awards. She is not breed biased.
Evelyn is available for judging schooling shows and giving dressage clinics locally or nationally  as well as giving clinics in making musical freestyle rides at all levels.
